Wall Art - Madhubani Art Motifs - The Fish
Madhubani art is practiced in the Mithila region of the state of Bihar, India. Traditional Madhubani paintings are made from the paste of powdered rice. The painting is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments. The paintings were traditionally done on freshly plastered mud walls, but now they are also done on cloth, handmade paper, and even on canvas. Generally, no space is left empty; the gaps are filled by paintings of flowers, animals, birds, or simple geometric shapes.
We have tried to bring forth the digital versions of the original Madhubani paintings, with a slight twist!
Beautiful and colorful paintings grace your home and office walls. These sure will brighten up the space with vibrant colors. All the paintings are prints of our original paintings printed on high-quality art paper.
